Revive Church, Inc. (“Revive Church” or “We”) know that you care about how the information we receive from you is used and shared, and we take your privacy seriously. Revive Church values its users’ privacy. This Privacy Policy describes Revive Church’s privacy practices concerning information we collect through our websites, applications, online services, social media pages, mass email messages and SMS campaigns. “You” or a “user” refers to any individual who visits or otherwise uses the Revive Church Sites. By using the Sites, you accept and agree to the practices outlined in this Privacy Policy.  If you do not agree with the data practices described in this Privacy Policy, you should not use our Sites or our services.

1. What Types of Information Does Revive Church Receive From its Users?

It can also include transaction information, such as payment information, records of products or services purchased, and billing details. A. Through our Sites: We may collect Personal Information through our Sites, e.g., when you contact us, subscribe to our email newsletter, download content, or register to use our Sites.

We use analytics and performance cookies to collect information about traffic to our Sites and how users use our Sites. C. Through Google Analytics: Revive Church uses Google Analytics. Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. The information generated about domain usage is transmitted to Google in the U.S. This information is used to evaluate visitors’ use of the Domains, compile statistical reports on Domain activity, and provide other services related to the Sites. Google may also collect information about Domain visitors’ use of other websites. 4. How Does Outreach Use Personal Information?

  • If you choose to provide Personal Information concerning your religious affiliation or beliefs to or through our Sites, you specifically consent to Revive Church using such Personal Information for any of the purposes set forth in this Privacy Policy and sharing such Personal Information as set forth in this Privacy Policy. 

 

5. Revive Church will not sell, rent or lease any private information to third-parties.

  • SMS content and phone numbers collected by Revive Church, Inc. for SMS purposes will not be shared with third-parties as required by The Campaign Registry (TCR), nor will it sell, rent, or lease any of its customer’s personal information to any third parties. Information sharing to subcontractors (i.e. Thithe.ly) in support services, such as customer service is permitted.
  • Revive Church contracts with Tithe.ly to manage all online giving and mass email/SMS messaging campaigns. Tithe.ly is a reputable company used by over 39,000 churches and is fully TCR/10DLC compliant.
  • According to Tithe.ly’s privacy policy, they explicitly state that they do not sell user information and will not share personal data for any commercial purposes outside of their platform; any information shared with third parties is aggregated and anonymized, meaning it cannot be traced back to individual users.
  • With SMS and email campaigns through Tithe.ly, users can opt in or opt out of Tithely messaging. Users can manage their communication preferences through the email unsubscribe link or by replying with “STOP” to a text message; to re-subscribe after opting out, they can reply with “UNSTOP” to a text message or update their preferences through the unsubscribe link in an email.

 

6. Disclosure of Information

Revive Church, Inc. may not use or disclose the information provided by you except under the following circumstances:

  • As necessary to provide services or products you have ordered
  • In other ways described in this Policy or to which you have otherwise consented
  • In the aggregate with other information in such a way so that your identity cannot reasonably be determined
  • As required by law or in response to a subpoena or search warrant
  • To outside auditors who have agreed to keep the information confidential
  • As necessary to enforce the Terms of Service
  • As required to maintain, safeguard, and preserve all the rights and property of Revive Church, Inc.

 

7. Individual Posts/Endorsements

Personal Information may be voluntarily disclosed by you to or through our Sites when you post information and materials to our Sites. This information may also appear in other public ways, such as through search engines or other publicly available platforms and may be “crawled” or searched by third parties. Such posts may be shared by Revive Church. Similarly, if you share a testimonial or endorsement about your experience on our Sites, we may share that information publicly. It is your responsibility to refrain from posting any information that you do not want to reveal to the public at large.

8. How Does Revive Church Secure Personal Information About Me?

Revive Church has implemented data security measures to protect Personal Information within our organization, including security controls to prevent unauthorized access to our systems. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected online and offline. Wherever we collect sensitive information (e.g. credit card information), that information is encrypted and securely transmitted to us. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for “https” at the beginning of the webpage’s address (URL). While we take reasonable steps to secure your Personal Information from loss, misuse, interference, unauthorized access, modification, or disclosure, you should be aware no security procedures or protocols are ever guaranteed to be 100 percent secure from intrusion or hacking, and there is therefore always some risk assumed by sharing Personal Information online. 9. Non-Marketing Purposes

Revive Church greatly respects your privacy. We maintain and reserve the right to contact you if needed for non-marketing purposes (such as bug alerts, security breaches, account issues, and/or changes in Revive Church, Inc. products and services). In certain circumstances, we may post a notice on our website, in newspapers, or other public means.

10. How Can I Access, Correct, Remove or Obtain a Copy of Personal Information Revive Church Has Collected About Me?

  • If you feel that any Personal Information about you that has been collected and stored by Revive Church is incorrect, or if you would like Personal Information about you removed from our systems, please notify us at admin@reviveroc.org so that we may consider and respond to your request in accordance with applicable law. You may also request access to or a copy of your Personal Information held by Revive Church, by sending a written request to admin@reviveroc.org.

 

11. How Long Will My Personal Information Be Retained?

Revive Church will retain your Personal Information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it is collected and as outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required. The length of time we retain information will be determined based on the following criteria:

• The length of time your personal information remains relevant
• The length of time it is reasonable to keep records to demonstrate that we have fulfilled our duties and obligations
• Any limitation periods within which claims might be made
• Any retention periods prescribed by law or recommended by regulators, professional bodies or associations
• The type of contract we have with you

12. What Choices Do I Have?

A. All mass SMS/mobile communications campaigns from Revive Church will provide users with the following options:
1. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text “STOP” to the shortcode. Upon sending “STOP,” we will confirm your unsubscribe status via SMS. Following this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up as you did initially, and we will resume sending SMS messages to you.
2. If you experience issues with the messaging program, reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or reach out directly to admin@reviveroc.org.
3. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
4. As always, message and data rates may apply for messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies. For questions about your text plan or data plan, contact your wireless provider.

B. You can opt not to use our Sites or opt not to voluntarily disclose information to or through our Sites. However, if you elect not to voluntarily provide Revive Church with certain Personal Information, it may affect your experience of the Sites and we may be limited in responding to your inquiries or providing services to you.

C. You may opt-out of receiving marketing messages from Revive Church by sending an email to admin@reviveroc.org, or by completing the Opt-Out Form on our website’s Digital Security Policy page, or by selecting the unsubscribe option at the bottom of the email messaging campaign.

D. If you wish to unsubscribe or opt-out from any third-party websites, you must go to that specific website to unsubscribe or opt-out. Revive Church will continue to adhere to this Policy with respect to any personal information previously collected.

Because email communications are not secure, please do not include credit card information or other sensitive information in your emails to us. Revive Church will take any privacy complaint seriously and any complaint will be assessed by an appropriate person with the aim of resolving any issue in a timely and efficient manner. We request that you cooperate with us during this process and provide us with any relevant information that we may need.

14. Children’s Privacy
Our Sites and services are not directed to children under the age of 13, we do not intentionally gather Personal Information from visitors who are under the age of 13, and such individuals are prohibited hereby from providing Personal Information, without their parent’s or guardian’s consent. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without his or her consent, he or she should contact us at the contact information provided above. We will delete such information from our files as soon as reasonably practicable.

Our website may contain links to affiliates and other websites. Revive Church does not claim nor accept responsibility for any privacy policies, practices and/or procedures of other such websites. Therefore, we encourage all users and visitors to be aware when they leave our website and to read the privacy statements of every website that collects personally identifiable information. This Privacy Policy Agreement applies only and solely to the information collected by our website.

16. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website, you are hereby accepting the terms and conditions stipulated within the Privacy Policy Agreement.
