Jesus extends the invitation to repent to all believers since it is the only means of straightening our path or changing our course in fulfilling God’s plan for our lives. Most Christians repent enough to be forgiven but not enough to see real transformation and fruitfulness. I can attest to the seasons of repentance in my own life have been some of the most fruitful. The possibilities Jesus is able accomplish with a fully yielded, repentant heart are endless. It is why Jesus forever ties the principle of fruitfulness with repentance.
